Cameras to Roll for Stranger Things Season 5 This Summer

David Harbour, Stranger Things actor confirms that filming the fifth season will begin in the coming summer.

Starry Things star David Harbour said that the series’ fifth, and final season would begin filming this year.

However, we start filming that in June. Harbour gave fans a glimpse of Detective Jim Hopper, his character, in the upcoming fifth season. “I did a lot in training for Season 4,” he said. “He [Hopper] was a very special person, that Russian prison. It was about making him feel different, sort of shedding another layer of himself, both mentally and physically. Now, he’s back home in America and has cheeseburgers.

Harbour played Jim Hopper on Stranger Things premiered in 2016. Harbour has also remained loyal to the show with the rest of the original cast. Harbour shared his plans for 2022 and how he would deal with the intense shooting schedule that will take place between the final season of Stranger Things and Marvel Studios Thunderbolts. Red Guardian will return to Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2022. “It’s gonna be crazy,” Harbour said. “It will be back-and-forth with us. They will need to share it with me. It’s almost like they are sharing me.

Stranger Things Season 5 is Coming Soon

Harbour has confirmed Season 5’s shooting schedule. However, Finn Wolfhard seemed to confirm its February release window. Wolfhard stated, “I will be 22 by [ Stranger ThingsSeason 5,]” in an interview. This occurred just one month after Wolfhard had opened up to discuss his thoughts about the future. “If Stranger Things lasted more than five [seasons], then I would consider it absurd,” he stated. “I think the Duffer Brothers figured out, I would suppose, a perfect conclusion in five. We didn’t know we’d be able to do two. So, we are glad that people still want to see it.

The announcement that Season 5 of Stranger Things is coming to an end has sparked speculation about potential spinoff properties. The Stranger Things writers discredited an assertion that an Eleven-centric spinoff series was coming. They simply called the report “[n]ottrue.”

Netflix is streaming the first four seasons of Stranger Things.
