Filming of Deadpool 3 to Commence, Start Date and Locations Unveiled

A report shows where Deadpool 3 will film and when production on the time-traveling buddy comedy, starring Hugh Jackman & Ryan Reynolds, begins.

Information about when and how Deadpool 3 filming will take place has started to surface

MidgardTimes reported that preproduction of the Ryan Reynolds-led third quel has begun. Filming is set to begin later this year, at Pinewood Studios, London on May 22. The second unit will work in Vancouver. The third installment of Reynolds’ Marvel franchise will feature the first Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance by the Merc With a Mouth. Hugh Jackman’s MCU debut is confirmed in his role as the Wolverine. Logan doesn’t know who that guy was and wants him gone. The Time Variance Authority, also known as the TVA, is an interdimensional bureaucracy introduced by Marvel Comics in the MCU. It was first introduced in LokiDisney+. Tom Hiddleston plays God of Mischief. Owen Wilson stars as Mobius M. Mobius, an avuncular white-collar analyst who works at the TVA. Wilson and The Crown’s Emma Corrin are both reportedly part of the cast of Deadpool 3. Patrick Stewart has also said that he has told others to “standby.”

Marvel hasn’t yet revealed that any of its Deadpool cast members will be returning. However, T.J. Miller has spoken out about his decision not to play the Weasel. Nothing has been said about Morena’s return as Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa, his friend Dopinder played by Karan Sorian, or Blind Al, played a Leslie Uggams.

Deadpool is back

Jackman, Reynolds, and Jackman have been making fun of each other via social media while Jackman is working out intensely to prepare them for production. Jackman’s inclusion in Deadpool 3 was confirmed by Jackman and Reynolds, who also stated that the plot would continue Wolverine’s heroic demise in the 2017 film Logan. Reynolds made a joke about Jackman’s idea to call the movie Wolverine/Deadpool in a post on social media.

Shawn Levy (who worked with Reynolds as a director on Free Guyand The Adam Project) will direct Deadpool 3. Filming is expected last five months, between May and October. Deadpool 3 has been scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 8, 2024.
